De Chai Colonial Hotel & Spa - SHA Plus

In behalf of my family, I must say we really liked everything about this hotel, from location, staffs at the hotel, local people, food, room, and how easy to navigate their hotel is. We found that Chiang Mai is a safe place wherever you go or at. The location of this hotel is superb and from our experience it's really safe even it's located from the neighborhood. The location is clean from the outside and pretty much the entire hotel. The location of this hotel is not far from the night markets, temples, and restaurants as well. The staffs are so helpful, respectful, accommodating, and very friendly at all times. The foods at the hotel are delicious and cheap. Our room is really spacious with massive bathroom. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Location is convenient since just 5 mins walk to old city. The room is spacious and clean and lightings and aircon are good since we can adjust from the panels beside the bed ourselves. I love the comfy bed and pillows and even bought 2 pillows from them to bring back to Singapore. One of their staff Faek doing our check out is very lovely and helpful. Planning to come back if I visit Chiang Mai in 2023 again.

Excellent location, just outside the city wall. the hotel and rooms were very clean and seems brand new. Great choice for a little extra affordable luxury. I also had a massage at the spa, a bit expensive comparing to other places but it was clean and good quality.

The staff were all so friendly and welcoming! Plenty of space in bedrooms / bathroom and good breakfast with a nice selection to choose from. Location was perfect on a quiet street and close to the East Gate of the Old Town. We would definitely recommend this place.

The breakfast was great, and I found changes throughout my eight-night stay. The room is big, clean, and comfortable. The location is close to the gate of the old city and the main road, which is convenient. The facility of the SPA in the basement was elegant.
